Zoom Meeting Notes

June 4, 2025

We discussed a replacement for Treasurer to be on the Board for the 2025 – 2026 year as Wandy has resigned from being Treasurer.  Pete will email selected individuals to find out who might be interested.  We also need to fill the position of Vice President.

Our Annual General Meeting will be on July 14.

OPEN HOUSE

Terry suggested hosting our Open House on September 8, 2025, one week after the Highland Games.  An additional proposal was made to hold an Open House at Zao on Thursday September 11.

It was proposed to call our Open House, Try It, You’ll Like It!

HIGHLAND GAMES, LABOR DAY WEEKEND

Wisconsin Highland Games are August 29, 30 & 31. The Demo Dancers will be performing in the Pub Tent in the afternoon and in the main arena after the Highland Dancing ends.  All Scottish Country Dancers are welcome to watch and help with Audience Participation.

IRISH FEST

This will be the first time our Demo Dancers perform at Irish Fest, dancing on Thursday, August 14 in the Dance Tent.

DANCE CLASS

There will be no class on June 9 at Journey’s.  There will be no class at Journey’s on Monday August 18, and Monday August 25 due to a rummage sale being held at Journey’s.
