Hales Corners Class


We meet every Monday in Hales Corners for a mixed dance class. Beginners are welcome, but some of the dances will be focused towards intermediate and advanced dancers which beginners are encouraged to watch.

Mequon-Thiensville Rec Class

This is a beginner Scottish Country Dancing class offered through the Mequon-Thiensville recreation department. Registration is required.

Fall term runs from September 9 – December 9, 2026, with an end of term dance party on Saturday, December 12.

East Side Milwaukee Class

This is an open class and new dancers are always welcome. We practice and learn footwork, as well as dances.

  • 2419 E Kenwood Blvd, Milwaukee, WI 53211
    • Enter door from back parking lot and to 3rd floor
    • Parking in Zelazo lot ($1.50 an hour) or on the street
    • Watch email and social media for occasional studio changes
  • Time: 7:00-9:00 pm
  • Class Fee: $5 (drop-in per class)

No Experience Required

You can come to our dance classes whether you have been dancing for years or have never danced in your life, everyone is welcome regardless of experience level.

No Partner Required

Scottish Country Dancing is a social dance where we change partners each dance. You can come by yourself, with friends, or with family, and enjoy dancing with everyone in the group.

Dancing Shoes Recommended

Ghillies are the most common dance shoes used Scottish dancing, but it is okay if you don’t have them. It is recommended to at least bring soft-soled shoes to dance in.
