Come and Join Us!

Joining our amazing group of dancers is easy! All you need to do is walk on in. On Mondays, we usually start with a warm-up, and then do some walk throughs of easier dances, before getting into the more advanced ones. At that point the beginners might go out in the hallway to learn/ practice steps, while the experienced dancers will perform some more advanced dances. We usually dance about 6 dances a night.

Come find us at Journey’s Lutheran School for a fun night of dancing!

No Experience Required

You can come to our dance classes whether you have been dancing for years or have never danced in your life, everyone is welcome regardless of experience level.

Dancing Shoes Recommended

Ghillies are the most common dance shoes used Scottish dancing, but it is okay if you don’t have them. It is recommended to at least bring soft-soled shoes to dance in.

No Registration Required

You do not need to register for both the Monday and the Thursday class. You can just walk in and dance!

Exciting Parties and Social Dances

Milwaukee Scottish Country Dancers welcomes all ages and skill levels to enjoy dancing at the annual balls, parties, and social dances we host. The dances for our parties are practiced weeks in advance so that everyone can know the dances without having to worry.

Incredible Community

The Milwaukee Scottish Country Dancers are part of a bigger community of Scottish dancers. By joining our group, you can become a part of this community and create new connections and lifelong friendships.
