Our goal is to share the joy of Scottish Country Dancing with the entire Metro Milwaukee area. We introduce & engage our community through classes, dances, demonstrations and the Midwest Scottish Weekend.
Your donations help us keep classes and dances affordable, expand programming, provide free entry to dances for new dancers and scholarships for the Midwest Scottish Weekend. In 2026 we will be adding a new beginner recreation department class in the fall to give more people a chance to learn & enjoy dancing with us
All our teachers volunteer their time to prepare for & teach classes. They are committed to keeping their skills sharp by attending a teacher continuing education workshop in Canada every summer. In 2026 we are also excited to support a new teacher in training.

Volunteering & Donation Dollars
Our entire organization is run by volunteers. Please consider volunteering as a board or committee member.
Some employers donate money based on volunteer hours for example, $10-25 per volunteer hour or annual volunteer grants.
Qualified Charitable Distributions & Legacy Gifts
We are eligible for qualified charitable distribution directly from an Individual Retirement Account (IRA). This does count towards required minimum distributions (RMDs) and may reduce your taxable income.
